Medical appliance molds --- Blood collection tube mold

Medical appliance molds are a crucial part of the medical industry, and their design and manufacture are directly related to the quality, safety and efficiency of medical appliances. With the popularity of a large number of plastic products in medical appliances, injection molding technology has become the mainstream production method, so the importance of the mold is self-evident.

With decades of design and manufacturing experience, ICP Moulds is not only capable of designing water, carbonated beverage and oil bottle preforms with standard neck sizes, but also special shapes to meet specific customer needs. We utilize a comprehensive computer-aided engineering service to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the entire process, from design conception to the final product.

Our preform injection molds/molds are equipped with a specially designed hot runner system that allows for ideal and rapid heating during the production process. The system's larger runner design allows the mold to produce preforms at lower injection pressures, which reduces wear and tear on the mold components, lowers maintenance costs, and saves electrical energy.

In the manufacture of medical device molds, the temperature management system must be carefully designed to ensure consistent quality of the finished product. The layout of cooling circuits and heating tubes must be reasonable to ensure the temperature of the finished product is evenly distributed to avoid quality problems.

The main parts of the preform molds of Hongmei Mould, such as cavities, cores and screw lips, are made of S136, while the mold frame is made of 4CR13 stainless steel. The use of flat plate method can effectively prevent corrosion and ensure the long service life of preform molds.

We use CNC lathes, EDM, coordinate boring machines and high-precision grinding machines in the mold processing to ensure the precision and speed of the processing and the high quality of the molds. Most of these machines are imported from the United States and Japan, such as machining centers, CNC lathes and EDM equipment, which enable high machining precision, good interchangeability, and eccentricity as low as ≤0.10mm (machining length ≤100).

Each set of molds undergoes a rigorous mold trial before leaving the factory with a complete record of parameters and according to a unique serial number. We provide a full set of spare parts free of charge to ensure the normal operation of the molds. During the use of the molds, ICP DAS will continue to provide sufficient spare parts support and is always ready to provide technical support to meet the various needs of our customers.
